This weeks book review is a new favorite of mine. ‘Twenty Eight and A Half Wishes’ by Denise Grover Swank. This was offered as a free book by iTunes which I always download because occasionally you find a real gem. As they have to offer something for everything sometimes the genre of book they offer really isn’t my type of read, but I was shocked how much I enjoyed this book!

I must admit there were times when It reminded me of the true blood series with the Shreveport Louisiana parts, minus the vampires of course. And the main character Rose had similarities to Sookie Stackhouse with her psychic gift. But as it was deceived as a mystery i persevered and I am so glad I did.

There was enough going on for it to be exciting and intriguing but not so much it was confusing. The plot was great and I have even purchased the sequel to read next I loved it that much.

I defiantly recommend this to read, it was a really fun mystery with a twist. And it’s also free on kindle as well as iTunes so there’s no reason not to give it a go!
